Location of the Nature Preserve
In the Free State of Saxony, at the tri-country corner at the borders of Germany – the Czech Republic – Poland.
How to get there
When travelling to Zittau by public transportation rather than by car, we recommend going by train via Dresden, Görlitz or Liberec. From the station there are convenient connections via bus or the famous narrow gauge railway (Smallspurbahn) to the towns of the Nature Preserve. Going by car you leave the A4 at the motorway exit “Bautzen – Ost,” then follow the road B6 towards Löbau and finally on the B 178 to Zittau. Other options are the state roads B 96 or B99.
Starting from Poland or the Czech Republic there are good connections via Zittau, Lückendorf, Großschönau and Seifhennersdorf.
